A long-time, dedicated supporter of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF) has come through again.
Al Suba, through the Al & Andrea Suba Foundation, has donated $35,000 to the Foundation supporting its Christmas Campaign #WeWatchYouSleep.
Suba, who established the Al and Andrea Suba Foundation last fall, said he is passionate about supporting healthcare and giving back to the community.
“Because first of all, the government does not provide the hospital with all the things they need to help me, and both my wife and myself have had a lot of support from the hospital,” Suba said. “I think that despite the fact that the government spends a lot of money on health, the hospitals still need money. There are a lot of things they don’t get from the government.”
Suba also encouraged other members of the community to help the hospital by making donations and taking advantage of the income tax benefits. “I think I’d like to tell them that hey, the hospital needs your money and there are income tax advantages to giving money to the hospital,” Suba said.
Suba also wished Merry Christmas to everyone. Wendy Warner, the executive director of TMHF, thanked
Suba for his continued generosity and said his donation will make a difference in the lives of many patients.
