The Centre for Workforce Development has a new Executive Director. Sandi Ramsay takes over the role from Brad Labadie who is leaving the organization to explore further entrepreneurial interests.
Ramsay brings a wealth of experience, having served in leadership roles in the non-profit sector for over 20 years.
Board President Emilie Leneveu says Ramsay’s proven track record in strategic leadership, program development, communications, adult education, government relations and community engagement align seamlessly with the centre’s goals.
Ramsay says, “I am honored to lead such a dynamic organization with a strong, historic and proactive commitment to workforce development. I look forward to working collaboratively with the board, staff, government and community partners to build upon the foundation laid by my predecessor Brad Labadie, and to continue advancing our mission as your expert on the local labour market in Hastings, Prince Edward and Lennox & Addington counties.”
About Labadie, President Leneveu adds, “Brad’s contributions have been invaluable, as his leadership has played a significant role in advancing the mission and goals of our organization.”
Labadie expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead the organization, saying, “It has been a privilege to serve as the executive director of the Centre for Workforce Development. I am proud of the achievements we have accomplished together, and I am confident that the organization is well-positioned for continued success with Sandi Ramsay at the helm.”
