Northumberland OPP charged a driver for travelling almost 60 km/hr over the speed limit on Highway 401.
An officer conducting speed enforcement on the highway late Sunday night clocked a motorist travelling 158 km/hr in Hamilton Township.
Thirty-one-year-old Roderick Newman of Cobourg is charged with stunt driving, drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available and possess more than one licence.
The accused also received a 30-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment.
He will appear in court in Cobourg at a later date.
