A cyclist was taken to hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle.
Belleville police report it happened Saturday evening around 6 p.m. in the area of Coleman and Catharine streets.
When police arrived a witness was providing medical attention to the victim.
The 39-year-old male of no fixed address was taken to Kingston General Hospital.
The intersection was closed for approximately three hours.
The investigation is continuing.
No charges have been laid.
