Two men are facing charges in connection with separate domestic incidents in Belleville on Saturday.
Police were called to Dundas Street East around 1 a.m. where a male and female were allegedly fighting on the sidewalk.
Witnesses reported male had physically assaulted the female prior to police arrival.
During the investigation, the male was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia which was in breach of his current Undertaking conditions.
A 32-year-old male from Belleville is charged with an intimate partner assault and breaching his Undertaking.
Around 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Belleville Police received reports of a male assaulting a female in the east end of the city.
Officers located the pair inside a residence.
Police allege the male broke into the female’s residence and assaulted her.
A 53-year-old male of no fixed address is charged with intimate partner assault, failing to comply with a previous release order, break and enter and breach of probation.
The male was held for a bail hearing.
Neither accused has been identified to protect the identities of the victims.
