Belleville police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a person of interest in connection with a fire in the downtown core Sunday night.
Police and fire responded to a dumpster fire in an alley way just before 8:30 p.m.
Firefighters quickly brought the flames under control.
Witnesses reported seeing two males leaving the alley moments after the fire was discovered.
The person of interest was wearing a blue toque, black winter jacket, blue jeans and black boots.
