The City of Quinte West’s Planning Advisory Committee has approved a recommendation that would rezone an area at 79 East Davis Street to allow six residential dwelling units.
The current area is zoned for non-residential uses such as a business, office, commercial school, hotel or restaurant, etc.
The plan is to convert an existing mixed-use building on the property into more residential dwelling spaces.
Currently, the building has two main floor units that are both intended for commercial use with one floor being used as a restaurant.
