You’d be wise to avoid a usually busy part of Belleville early Tuesday morning.
Sometime before 3 o’clock a transport hit and took down some communications wires and damaged poles at the intersection of Highway 401 and Wallbridge Road near the 10 Acre Truck Stop.
Hydro was not affected.
Crews are working to repair the damage and the 401/Loyalist-Wallbridge Road intersection, as well as the one at Bell Boulevard, will be closed to traffic until the work is complete.
