On October 4, 2023 at approximately 1 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Dundas Street East, Trenton after observing a traffic violation.
An investigation led to the driver being arrested.
Christopher McIlmoyle, 39 years old from Quinte West, has been charged with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol or drugs
- Operation while impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance – Methamphetamine
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on a future court date.
Additionally, his vehicle was impounded for seven days, and licence was suspended for 90 days.
