The Trenton Golden Hawks demolished the Aurora Tigers 9-3 on Saturday.
Adam O’Marra, Corbin Roach, Barret Joynt, Dillon Stiles, Owen Ireton and Thomas Kuipers scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks had an explosive start, taking four unanswered goals in a dominant first period, followed by three more unanswered goals in a similarly explosive second period, handing the Tigers a 7-0 deficit going into the third.
The Tigers tried to make a comeback and finally got on the scoreboard with three goals, before the Golden Hawks came back down on them again, grabbing two more goals and an overwhelming win.
The Golden Hawks are returning to the Dunc today to host the Linday Muskies at 2:30.
