Lennox and Addington OPP have charged a Kingston man with arson causing two suspicious fires in Napanee and area October 23.
One destroyed the Lennox Agricultural Memorial Community Centre on York Street in Napanee and the other was in Stone Mills Township
damaging a garage and vehicle belonging to the Agricultural Society’s Secretary-Treasurer Carol McKinley.
Friday, Jay Bradley, 49, was charged with two counts of arson and disregard for human life, criminal harassment, and possession of incendiary
material.
According to the Napanee Beaver, Bradley had leased the old arena for a roller skating business since 2019 but had been unable to settle on a lease renewal.
