Cocaine, Fentanyl and MDMA were seized in a drug trafficking investigation in Belleville on Tuesday.
Members of Project Renewal, with the assistance of the Belleville Police Emergency Response Unit, executed a search warrant at an east end residence seizing 82.9 grams of cocaine, 33.7 grams fentanyl and 3 grams of MDMA.
A .40 caliber Glock handgun, four sets of working digital scales and $6,855 cash were also seized.
The investigation resulted in the arrests of three people.
Sixty-three-year-old Regina Ferguson of Belleville, and 21-year-old Jacob Precoor and 19-year-old Marwan Badra, both from Oshawa face charges of:
- Unauthorized Possession of a firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a prohibited device
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – MDMA
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Proceeds of crime over $5000
Ferguson was released on an undertaking while the other two accused were held for a bail hearing.
