Officers with the Belleville Police Service continue a focus on preventing hate-motivated and
antisemitic incidents.
A report to the Police Service Board Thursday shows so far this year police investigated the person involved in posting
antisemitic commentary on various materials on a range of subjects.
Officers did not find grounds for arrest.
Also this year police have provided an extra presence at five special events involving members of
the Sons of Jacob Synagogue along with 11 property checks.
