UPDATE: Highway 401 has been reopened.

There are a pair of collisions Friday morning on the 401 westbound, between Napanee and Deseronto Road.
The major crash happened between County Road 41 (main exit at Napanee) and Deseronto Road exits in the westbound lanes, near the Beachwood Road overpass.
Multiple vehicles are said to be involved and the highway is closed.
The Emergency Detour Route has been set up.
There is also another crash further east between 41 and Deseronto Road.
