Lieutenant-General (ret) the Honourable Romeo Dallaire will be speaking in Belleville next month.
He is the scheduled guest speaker at Albert College’s Shewfelt Lecture Thursday, November 23.
General Dallaire is an outspoken advocate for human rights and led the UN peacekeeping mission in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide.
He is also a respected author, government and UN advisor, and former Canadian Senator.
The presentation is open to the community.
