The Trenton Golden Hawks dismantled the North York Rangers 9-1 on Friday.
Matthew Lee, Barret Joynt, Ryan Cutler, Gianni DiVita, Ranon Joseph, Kayson Un Yi, Trevor McDowell, and
Adam O’Marra scored for the Golden Hawks.
Neither team was able to get an edge on the other in the first frame, with no goals. During the second period, however, the Golden Hawks blew the game wide open with a goal just two minutes into the frame that started a chain reaction of goal after goal after goal. After the Golden Hawks notched their seventh goal in the period, the Rangers managed to slip their one and only goal of the game in, to get on the board.
The third period saw two more goals from the Golden Hawks, extending their lead.
The Golden Hawks will travel to face St. Michaels on Tuesday.
