The average price of a home across the Quinte region varied from the mid $500,000s to almost $690,000 last month.
The Central Lakes Association of Realtors has released it September sales figures.
The association reports of the 128 homes sold last month, Belleville had the majority, however, the average price was lowest in the Friendly City.
Forty-six homes with an average price of just over $556,000 exchanged hands.
In Quinte West 41 homes were sold where the average price was $563,000.
The average price of the 29 homes sold in Prince Edward County in September was a little over $650,000.
The smallest municipality Brighton, not surprisingly, had the least number of sales but it also had the highest average price with a dozen homes selling for an average price of just over $686,000.
Last month’s average prices in three of the four centres are lower than the year-to-date averages ($570,000 – Belleville, $600,000 – Quinte West, $775,000 – Prince Edward County).
Brighton’s year-to-date average is slightly lower than September’s average price at just under $680,000.
The Central Lakes Association of Realtors is an amalgamation of several realtors including the former Quinte and District Association of Realtors as well as the Durham Region Association of Realtors, Northumberland Hills Association of Realtors, Peterborough and the Kawarthas Association of Realtors and the Kawartha Lakes Real Estate Association.
