Training camp has opened for the Belleville Senators.
Players reported for medicals and fitness testing on Sunday afternoon, with formal on-ice practices beginning Monday at CAA Arena.
Seventeen players are on the team’s initial training camp roster, including two goaltenders, six defencemen, and nine forwards.
There will be two pre-season games in Toronto on Friday and Laval on Sunday.
The B-Sens open up their seventh American Hockey League Season on October 14 in Hershey against the Bears.
Their home opener is October 21 versus the Laval Rocket.

Training camp practices will not be open to the public, but Belleville Sens season ticket members will get exclusive access to the practice on Thursday October 5, at 10:00 a.m.
