The Trenton Golden Hawks dismantled the Pickering Panthers 10-3 on Friday night.
David Fournier, Charlie Key, Barret Joynt, Gianni DiVita, Lucas Lapalm, Thomas Kuipers, and Adam O’Marra scored for the Golden Hawks.
The Golden Hawks started strong with two unanswered goals in the first period before running away with the game in the second with five goals. The Panthers took two goals of their own in the second period but couldn’t keep up with the Golden Hawks. The Golden Hawks kept the pressure on with three more goals in the third period, and despite a final goal for the Panthers, they couldn’t catch up.
The Golden Hawks took nearly twice as many shots on goal as the Panthers.
The Golden Hawks travel to face the Leamington Flyers on Thursday.
