One person is facing charges of assault and assaulting a police officer in Prince Edward County.
OPP responded to a suspicious person report in a parking lot near George Wright Boulevard in Picton Tuesday evening and learned that an individual was assaulted.
The Canine Unit assisted police and a suspect was located and arrested.
Police say the individual was assaultive toward officers though none of the officers was injured.
The accused also allegedly damaged the detachment cells.
Jesse Hanna, age 34 from Prince Edward County, is charged with assault,
assault a peace officer and two counts of mischief.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court November 15.
