Belleville police are looking for a female suspect related to a shoplifting incident.
Police received a call around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday regarding a shoplifter who fled from a business on North Front Street with over $700 worth of items.
Officers were unable to locate the female suspect but reviewed video surveillance with staff and determined that the suspect was known to police.
A warrant is being sought for the suspect.
She will be charged with theft under $5,000.
No other details about the suspect were provided by police.
