A Toronto man is facing charges after shoplifting incidents in Trenton and Cobourg.
Wednesday afternoon, Cobourg Police responded to a suspicious person report at a Strathy Road business in Cobourg.
Police located an individual matching the description and found him in possession of stolen property worth about $4,000 linked to thefts from businesses in Cobourg and Trenton.
The suspect was also found to be in breach of several release conditions.
The 34-year-old Toronto man is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and three counts of fail to comply with an undertaking.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
