The following was submitted by Belleville Police
On August 23, 2023 at 3:45 p.m., an officer on patrol stopped a motor vehicle in the downtown area in relation to a Highway Traffic Act infraction.
During the traffic stop, the officer identified the female passenger.
Further investigation revealed that she had an outstanding arrest warrant for impaired driving.
As a result, a 34-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
She was released on an undertaking with a court date in September 2023.
