Two public open houses for the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home redevelopment will take place on Wednesday, August 30.
The open houses will provide the public with an update on the work that has happened to date on the design of the redeveloped long-term care home.
The open houses will be held at the Picton Town Hall (2 Ross Street, Picton) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will follow a drop-in format with several booths related to specific program areas. Staff will give a short presentation at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. during the first session and at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. during the second session.
The public will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the various elements of the new long-term care home.
