A fire shut down the Bay Bridge at West Zwick’s Park for 15 minutes on Friday afternoon.
A tractor caught fire at the base of the bridge, prompting Belleville firefighters to respond and extinguish the blaze.
The area was briefly shrouded in a thick dark cloud of smoke before the fire was brought under control.
