Belleville police responded to 77 calls for service over a period from 5 a.m. on August 10, 2023 to 5 a.m. on August 11, 2023.
Wanted on Warrants:
A 38-year-old Belleville man was arrested on several outstanding warrants, Friday. An officer on patrol noticed the man in the area of Pinnacle and Dundas streets around 11:20 a.m. After confirming his identity, the male was found to have two outstanding warrants held by Belleville police.
Ryan Kleinsteuber was arrested and held for a bail hearing the following day on warrants held for breach of probation and failing to attend court.
Booze on Bell Boulevard:
A 38-year-old man had a stay with the Belleville Police Service after officers were called to a busy commercial area for a report of a man acting belligerently, Thursday. The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. after staff working at businesses in the area of Bell Boulevard near the Quinte Crossroads commercial plaza called to report the man making rude comments and acting out towards customers. Officers arrived and found the man to be heavily intoxicated. He was arrested and held at the Belleville Police Service until sober. The man was later released on a Provincial Offences Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
