A pair of major rainstorms contributed to a very wet July, with almost double the average rainfall for the month.
Most years July averages around 69mm of rain in the Quinte Region, but July 2023 saw a massive 125mm of rain recorded over the course of the month at CFB Trenton.
A lot of that rain came in two separate downpours, with 40mm coming down on 15th, and 32mm on the 27th.
The daily average high temperature was almost exactly on the normal level, with an average of 26.6 degrees compared to a normal of 26.3 degrees.
