There has been a suspected drowning death in the northern portion of our listening area.
Early Saturday evening, Killaloe OPP responded to a 911 call involving an unresponsive person in shallow water on Dam Lake, in the Township of Madawaska Valley, about 60 kilometres northeast of Bancroft.
The 18-year-old from Madawaska Valley was pronounced dead.
The death is not considered suspicious.
