Quinte West OPP have arrested an individual in connection with a break and enter to a Trenton business.
Someone broke into a Dundas Street East jewellery store around 4 a.m. on July 19.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
The OPP’s Emergency Response Team, as well as Canine Unit were dispatched to assist in a search but the suspect was not located.
Forensic Identification Services officers processed the scene and investigation led to the arrest of a male on Sunday.
Thirty-six-year-old Daniel Beattie of Quinte West is charged with break and enter, theft under $5000 and mischief under $5000.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
