The City of Belleville is hosting a Public Information Centre to discuss the Yeomans Street Traffic Calming Pilot Project.
Residents will have the chance to provide feedback and gain information regarding speed humps being installed on Yeomans Street from Catharine Street to Moira Street.
The speed humps are set to be installed in early August and removed by November 1, 2023.
It’s part of a pilot project that looks to collect data and determine the effectiveness of traffic calming measures in the city.
The Public Information Centre is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
It will take place on the third floor of Belleville City Hall in the Sir Mackenzie Bowell Room.
There will be no formal presentations to allow the public to attend at their own convenience during either of the sessions.
Members of the public will be able to view the display materials and ask staff questions.
All of the display materials will be made available online on the Public Consulation Centre’s webpage.
