The Trenton Golden Hawks have gone local with their latest signings.
The team announced on Wednesday that they signed forward Thomas Kuipers and goalie Brady Spry.
“Spry was unbelievable with the Picton Pirates in the 2022-23 season and we are excited to bring the Belleville native to the G-Hawks,” says Trenton Golden Hawks Head Coach and General Manager Derek Smith.
“Kuipers had a very strong season with the Quinte Red Devils last year and also had a chance to often practice with Trenton and also got into a few games. Having two welcome additions for the upcoming season is great, but in addition they are both from the Quinte region.”
For the U18 Red Devils, Kuipers notched 26 points in the regular season and six more in the playoffs.
Brady Spry meantime led the Tod Division with a .933 save percentage, a 2.45 goals against average, and most saves.
