While the sun was going down, the party was just getting started on Friday for Belleville’s Downtown at Dusk street festival.
A section of Front Street in downtown Belleville was closed to traffic as people came out to enjoy live music, food, shopping, and other attractions
Belleville city councillor Sean Kelly said it was an incredible night, and complimented artwork by the Quinte Arts Council that highlighted the beauty of the downtown area.
“It was just a lot of fun. Thousands from the Quinte area came to downtown Belleville,” said Councillor Kelly. “A pretty special weekend for the downtown DBIA.”
A juggler, a fire and whip show, and a fashion show also attracted viewers.
Four separate art galleries around downtown were also available for viewing.
