Belleville Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the east end of the city Thursday evening.
Around 6:40, police were called to a residence where a male allegedly head butted a woman during an argument.
Officers located the male suspect inside in an apartment complex.
Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 52-year-old Belleville man on multiple charges including two counts of assault, mischief and breaching of probation.
The male was later released with a July 24 court date.
