The Trenton branch of the Quinte West Public Library reopens Monday following a month-long closure for renovations.
Upgrades to the library’s Trenton branch include new height-adjustable service desks, fresh paint, carpet, lounge furniture and bistro tables and chairs that offer inclusive and accessible customer experiences.
Two new office pods have also been added and the size and capacity of the library’s MakerSpace have increased making room for a new 3D scanner and sewing machines.
The Parrott Foundation generously contributed $75,000 to renovate the Children’s Area at the Trenton branch with enhancements including more learning-through-play features and child-friendly furniture.
The Trenton branch reopens at 10 a.m. Monday, June 26.
The Frankford branch, located at 22 North Trent St., will return to its regular hours of operation on June 26.
