Central Hastings OPP say alcohol was involved in a head-on collision between two personal watercraft on Moira Lake Tuesday afternoon.
The collision happened just after 5 p.m.
One operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
The other operator, a 33-year-old man from Central Hastings was not hurt and was arrested at the scene.
William Maguire faces the following charges:
Operation while impaired – alcohol
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Operation causing bodily harm
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in court July 20.
