Eleven athletes from ENSS competed at the OFSAA track and field championship at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, in Ottawa, June 8-10.
Zack Flatt competed in senior shot put where he earned a 10th place finish by virtue of a personal best 12.98 m. Zack was 18th in discus, with a best throw of 36.84 m.
The senior boys’ relay team – Malcolm Whittle, Aidan Fairbanks, Zaid Wedderburn-Harper, and Brayden Clarke – finished 11th in 44.35 s.
Jawin Jeyapirakas was 17th in novice 300m hurdles with a time of 45.33 s.
The novice girls’ relay team – Kate Andrews, Azariyah Barnes, Emma Corkery, and Phoebe Mooney – were 19th in 53.92 s.
Aidan Molenhuis competed as a first-year senior in high jump, where he finished 20th with a jump of 1.75 m.
