A large donation will be used to help children reach post-secondary education.
On Friday, The Children’s Foundation announced that Pioneer Patient Transfer Services had donated $25,000.
It will be utilized through the Reach for Success program, which supports disadvantaged youth looking to get to college or university.
Pioneer Health Care CEO Travis Shawcross says that his parents fostered six children, helping change their lives for the better.
He adds the donation is to honour their dedication and continue their legacy for creating opportunities for children.
