Quinte West Public Library has announced they have appointed Jeri-Lynn Thomas as the library’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Thomas comes from the town of Cochrane, Alberta, where for she held the role of CEO/library director for the last seven years.
“I have a passion for community building, and specifically growing, enhancing and innovating public library services and spaces,” said Thomas in a release.
“Growing up in Southwest Ontario, I couldn’t wait to spend my summers on my grandparents’ multi-generational farm in Napanee. I know and love the Quinte West area and am looking forward to living in and serving this vibrant and beautiful community. I can’t wait to get started.”
Thomas takes over for Suzanne Humphreys who is retiring in June 2023.
Thomas will begin her role as the new CEO effective June 26, 2023.
