The Belleville Police Service is investigating a disturbing incident that occurred Tuesday evening in the area of Jackson Avenue and May Avenue near Parkdale Veterans Park.
Police say a man of South Asian descent asked a 12-year-old girl to enter his car several times. He drove away only after a couple showed up and told him to leave.
No one was injured.
The man, described to be in his 30s, was driving a white sedan with dark rims.
