The biggest fishing weekend of the year in the Quinte region is over.
Thousands cast lines in the 40th annual Kiwanis Walleye World Fishing Derby Saturday and
Sunday.
The biggest walleye in the Senior Division was caught by Jeff Lupton at 10.14 pounds.
The Senior Pike Division was won by Matt Mundell with a fish weighing 17.15 pounds.
An 8.06 pound fish caught by Kasen Gregory topped the Junior Pike Division while George
Ruttan won the Junior Walleye Division with one weighing 8.75 pounds.
The Senior Walleye winner won $10,000 cash while the Senior Pike champion won a boat, motor, and trailer package.
None of the tagged fish were caught.
