A Project Renewal drug investigation resulted in the arrest of six people and the seizure of crystal meth, heroin and fentanyl.
On Friday, Project Renewal executed a warrant in central Belleville with the assistance of the Belleville Emergency Response Unit & K9 as well as the Quine West OPP Street Crime Unit.
Ninety-one grams of fentanyl, seven grams of crystal methamphetamine and almost two grams of heroin were seized along with about $1,500 cash, brass knuckles and a taser.
Arrested and charged are:
Brian Orford, 43 years-old of Belleville:
1. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – fentanyl
2. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamine
3. Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – heroin

Joshua Pero, 32, of Kingston:

4. Obstruct Peace Officer (at time of arrest, despite being cautioned with obstruct twice, provided a false name)
