Three people were arrested following a weapons and ammunition seizure in Bancroft.
The OPP Community Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Bancroft Crime Unit and the members of the Bancroft OPP Detachment, executed search warrants at two residences in the town Thursday morning, seizing 10 firearms, a crossbow, and a large quantity of ammunition.
Police charged 63-year-old Donald Vautour of Bancroft with eight counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Forty-year-old Lisa Duynisveld and 46-year-old Irvin Whyte, also both of Bancroft, each face one charge of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
All three are scheduled to appear in court in Bancroft on May 9.
