This weekend has been unusually warm for April, but the heatwave hit new heights on Saturday when it shattered the nearly 20-year-old previous high temperature record for April 15.
Thermometers at CFB Trenton recorded a high of 28.3 degrees celcius, or 83 degrees farenheit.
The previous record set in 1994 was 24.5 celcius.
