It’s not official quite yet but it appears Brighton council has settled on its budget for this year.
At a recent council meeting Brighton’s staff presented the proposed budget to the public.
No changes were made at that time.
The budget features a 5.9% increase over last year’s and will mean a homeowner with a property valued at $400,000 would pay another $305 a year in local taxes.
Council will approve its budget at its Monday meeting.
