The Wellington Dukes have a two games to none lead in their Southeastern Conference semi-final series after beating Haliburton County 4-3 last night.
The Dukes got two goals from Luke Strickland with singles coming from Jacob Dietz and Edward Moskowitz.
Wellington outshot Haliburton County 47 to 32. Game 3 is tomorrow night in Wellington at 7:30.
Meanwhile the Trenton Golden Hawks can push the Toronto Jr. Canadiens to the wall in Toronto with a win tonight. The G-Hawks lead that best of seven, two games to none. The puck drops at 7:15.
In Jr. C playoff action it’s Napanee at Port Hope at 6:30. Port Hope is up two games to one.
And the Picton Pirates visit Amherstview at 7:30 with the series tied at one game apiece.
