It’s not official yet but it seems Brighton council has come up with its operating budget for this year.
At a public meeting Monday night council agreed to recommend the budget be approved at a meeting next month.
The budget shows a 5.58% increase in taxes for residential properties.
That translates to another $306 a year on a home assessed at $425,000.
