Some welcome support is coming to the emergency departments of two Quinte Region hospitals.
The provincial government is expanding its emergency department peer-to-peer program to a total of 27 rural and remote hospitals, including Prince Edward County Memorial and North Hastings Hospitals.
The peer-to-peer program provides emergency room doctors with 24/7 on line real-time support and coaching from highly experienced emergency physicians.
