A beloved staff member with the City of Quinte West has died.
Brian Grattan, the Quinte West Officer for Economic Development, passed away suddenly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
Few details are known at this time.
Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison says Grattan was a favourite around City Hall and was avid in community sports, particularly baseball.
Grattan was involved with the Havelock Lions for 25 years was the current president. He was involved with the Royal Canadian Legion.
He is being laid to rest Friday.
He was 47.
