Two people from Scarborough were scheduled to appear in court Monday following a break and enter on Millennium Parkway.
Belleville police responded to a business around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday where the alarm company indicated a glass break and several sensors had been activated.
Police encountered a vehicle leaving the scene as they arrived.
That vehicle was located shortly after at a Sidney Street residence and following a short discussion between an officer and the two occupants, the driver fled across the front lawn and back onto the street.
Police stopped the suspects on Bell Boulevard, arresting the female driver and male passenger.
As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old Scarborough man was charged with:
1. Breach of Probation
2. Flight from Police
3. Dangerous Operation
4. Break & Enter
A 36-year-old Scarborough woman was charged with:
1. 15 counts of Fail to comply with a release order
2. Fail to comply with a Probation order
3. Drive while prohibited
4. Flight from Police
5. Dangerous operation
6. Break & Enter
Both were held for a show cause hearing on Monday.
