Matthew Cato scored at 3:43 of the second overtime to lift the Trenton Golden Hawks over the Burlington Cougars 6-5.
It was Cato’s second of the game and 13th of the season and helped Trenton take two out of three from a busy weekend.
Sami Douglas Najem and Jordan Fuller had a goal and assist.
Lucas Robinson and Ryan Holmes scored singles.
Ethan Fraser stopped 35 shots as Burlington outshot the G-Hawks 40-38.
The Golden Hawks host the Toronto Patriots Friday night.
Tonight (Monday) the Wellington Dukes are in Cobourg.
